Top Five Characters I Wish Would Get Their OWN Book or POV

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Sarah's Top 5
So, I'm not really someone who is constantly wanting a character to have their own book or POV because I can't really see them away from the original story or separate from the other characters in that story. However, there are, of course, a few exceptions and these are some of them:

1. Thalia Grace (Percy Jackson and the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus series)
Thalia is, to put it simply, AWESOME! She totally deserves her own book. I would love to see her adventures with the Hunters and what type of foes she might come across.

2. Rayna and Toraf (Syrena Legacy trilogy)
These two are so cute, I would love to see a book focused on them either set not long before Of Poseidon or their journey after. I'm really not picky.

3. Rachel Morgan & Joe Solomon (Gallagher Girls series)
I know these two are adults in a YA series but they are also bad-ass spies and I would love to read some of their adventures.

4. Haymitch (The Hunger Games trilogy)
I love Haymitch. Next to Katniss he is my favorite character in the Hunger Games. I don't know if I'd rather have a book about his games or see his POV during the Hunger Games because I love reading the Haymitch/Katniss dynamic but either one would be so cool!

5. Sturmhond (The Grisha trilogy)
Do I really need to explain this? I can sum it up in one word: Pirate.

  1. I've never really thought too much about Haymitch's back story but I bet it would be good, or do a prequel and show him winning the Games, etc. I tend to think that most stories are just what they should be so I rarely pine for more information on the characters. Here is my off-beat TTT-Anne

\outl0\strokewidth0 \strokec2 I thought about adding Haymitch. He's such secretive character with so much hidden behind that drunken facade of his. Something from him would definity be interesting. And Thalia. OMG. I never even thought of her. I'd love to hear something about her or from her point of view. She's so headstrong and has a very distinct personality that I love. Epic choices. \

  3. I've only seen the first Hunger Games movie, but I really liked Haymitch as a character! I feel like the games from his POV would be really interesting! Great List!

  5. I barely met Thalia end of book 2 but am super curious about her, what happened and so on. :)
Same for Haymitch. Wonder what happened to turn him into what he was. :X Crazy!
    Good picks!

  7. YES to Sturmhond!!! That would be such a great book! I adored him. And Haymitch for sure. I would love reading about his games and the aftermath. Suzanne Collins could write books from everyone, down to the most random Avox, and I would buy and devour it! Great list!

  8. Hamitch is such a great character! I would also love for him to get his own book. It would be interesting to see how he actually won the games (in more detail) and to see what really goes on inside his mind.
